DENVER, COLORADO, September 5, 2024 — The outdoor lighting industry today took the next step forward in design, performance and rugged reliability with the introduction of Coastal Source EVO™, the most beautiful, elegant, and refined outdoor lighting fixture ever to be brought to market. The new lighting line was unveiled at CEDIA 2024 at Booth #3533 in the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.

“The custom-designed, fully integrated EVO LED module is so powerful and compact it will disappear into the landscape environment when you want to see the light effect but not the fixture,” said Coastal Source CEO Franco D’Ascanio. “At the same time, the fixture’s unique design lends itself to being featured as an artistic element in an outdoor landscape design should that be desired. EVO provides the lighting designer with infinite flexibility to design the perfect outdoor lighting scene for the homeowner. Compared to a 6W MR16 fixture, EVO is 50% smaller, has higher output (up to 560lm), has a wider beam angle (up to 80 degrees), has two dispersion patterns (direct and 360+), has two color temperatures (2700K and 3000K), has less glare, and improved optics. EVO’s custom designed fully integrated LED module is based on a CREE LED. Its unique design fully seals all the electronics of the light into a compact, thermally efficient, and watertight package.

Numerous shrouds, hats, risers, and accessories enable hundreds of unique fixture designs to solve all problems that a lighting designer may face. EVO is available in Black and Antique Brass finishes to compliment the landscape scene perfectly.

EVO can be mounted in softscapes, hardscapes, along paths, hanging, and in-trees. It can be conveniently ordered as a pre-built assembly as a FLEX module, or the lighting designer can combine the numerous individual parts to make a custom fixture to meet their unique need. Because EVO uses Coastal Source’s patented Plug+Play™ Coastal CMC cable system installers can twist, connect and lock the cable to the speaker in record time without having to use tools or requiring any soldering. The possibility of a bad connection is eliminated.

“The LED module actually uses the brass housing as a heat-sink to enable it to operate at the lowest temperature to ensure it continues to shine for a lifetime,” D’Ascanio emphasized. “When it is time to replace the LED, just unscrew it from the brass fixture and replace it. There is no need to replace the brass fixture – ever!”
