The Dallas Market Center recently issued a call for speakers for the ArchLIGHT Summit, a new lighting trade event and educational platform for architectural, specification, and design communities. The deadline for speaker proposals is December 31, 2020.

Due to the continuing uncertainty of the pandemic along with New York State and City restrictions on assembly, the LEDucation committee has made the decision to reschedule the in-person 2021 LEDucation Trade Show and Conference to August 17-18, 2021.

Join the U.S. Department of Energy and the Illuminating Engineering Society at the 18th annual Lighting R&D Workshop, February 1–4, 2021, where top lighting scientists and industry thought leaders will gather to share progress, challenges, ideas, and solutions to shape the future of lighting. The 2021 workshop will be virtual and free to attend.

Today, the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), and International Market Centers (IMC) announced that the LIGHTFAIR 2021 trade show and conference will be postponed until October 2021.

LEDucation, whose 2021 event will take place March 16–17, 2021, has issued a call for speakers.

At the end of September, LEDs Magazine held a virtual lighting conference. The sessions are now available for on-demand viewing.

Dallas Market Center recently announced a new lighting trade event and educational platform for architectural, specification and design communities debuting in fall 2021. The first ArchLIGHT Summit will take place September 21-22, 2021, in the Dallas Trade Mart, already home to the permanent marketplace for the semi-annual Lightovation residential lighting show.

On October 19-21, 2020, the Illuminating Engineering Society will offer a virtual Street and Area Lighting Conference (SALC).

LIGHTFAIR invites lighting thought leaders to apply to present at its 2021 Conference, May 16-20, 2021 in New York. The application is open now and closes on September 14, 2020.
