DLC Releases NLC-HVAC Integration Toolkit

DLC Releases NLC-HVAC Integration Toolkit

The DesignLights Consortium (DLC) has released a new NLC-HVAC toolkit to improve collaboration between building operators, lighting professionals, and HVAC engineers. DLC claims integrating networked lighting controls (NLC) with HVAC can save over 20% of the whole building load.

The toolkit helps building professionals:

  • Understand the benefits of integrating Networked Lighting Controls (NLC) with HVAC systems
  • Identify the best buildings for integration to maximize energy and cost savings
  • Navigate roles and responsibilities across different teams and building systems
  • Learn from real-world case studies, searchable by building type

The free toolkit includes a decision tree, a handbook, a list of case studies, a project template, and a responsibility matrix.

You can download the free toolkit here, and learn more about NLC-HVAC integration here.
