Looking Ahead To LightFair 2025

LightFair 2025 will be held in Las Vegas, NV, May 4-8, 2025. With LightFair 2025 six months away, it is interesting to take a look at the number of exhibitor booths that have been booked. As of November 9th, 2024, I hand-counted 179 exhibitors listed on the website exhibitor map. It is possible that this count is off by a few, but it should be the right order of magnitude. It is expected that the exhibitor count will increase over the next six months.

For perspective, we can compare past exhibitor numbers and attendance numbers, in the chart below. 2019 was the last LightFair before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. The pandemic caused cancellation of the 2020 LightFair. The show was a fraction of its pre-pandemic size in 2021, 2022, and 2023. This directly led to the decision to make LightFair every two years, instead of annually. 2025 will be the first LightFair to test the impact of reducing the frequency to every other year. The intention was to have increased attendance every other year. This will also be the first LightFair managed by Messe Frankfurt.
