FlashNet Extends LiteTrace Controls Commissioning Distance

FlashNet is a novel optical signal-based wireless device control technology developed by LiteTrace for managing commercial lighting systems. This patent-pending technology enables wireless control of Keilton+autani daylight harvesting sensors through precision light signals, allowing users to interact with their lighting devices from up to 50 feet away.

How FlashNet Works

  1. A specially coded flashing light beam is directed at a FlashNet-compatible sensor.
  2. The sensor decodes the light signal.
  3. Based on the decoded instruction, the sensor and associated lights perform specific actions.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Long-range control: Manage lights from up to 50 feet away
  • Simplified commissioning: Easily identify and configure individual lights
  • Enhanced flexibility: Quickly adjust groupings and scenes
  • Non-invasive control: No need for physical access to sensors or fixtures

FlashNet allows users to change light states, reset devices, manage groupings, and set scenes using innovative light beam signals. This technology offers an alternative to traditional wireless control methods, enhancing reliability and eliminating potential radio frequency interference.

Applications

FlashNet is ideal for managing large-scale commercial lighting systems, providing precision and adaptability in lighting control. It improves how users commission, identify, and manage their Bluetooth commercial lights from a distance.

For those interested in seeing FlashNet in action, LiteTrace provides demo videos on their website. More information about FlashNet and its potential to improve building lighting control can be found on the LiteTrace website.
