CES 2024 concluded last week, in Las Vegas, NV. While every imaginable type of tech was there, there were some lighting product releases. Here are two of them:
NanoLeaf released its Sky Expansion Pack. See first two images. This NanoLeaf Skylight is designed to look and feel like a skylight. By replicating a dynamic sky experience, NanoLeaf claims consumers can add ambiance that positively impacts their well-being and daily routines. They go on to claim that the simulated sky adds aesthetic appeal to a space, and contributes to a tranquil atmosphere. More information here.
A second interesting product release at CES 2024 was the Lotus Ring, a wearable ring for your finger that controls smart home features, including lights, by pointing. See bottom image. Lotus Ring features an infrared transmitter and a discreet, tactile button, enabling users to control their compatible Lotus smart home products. With a press, consumers can flick off light switches, activate plugged-in appliances, and power up or down their television.
Lotus also hinted at an upcoming upgrade featuring a touch sensor. This would allow users to change channels and navigate menus with a simple touch. More information here.
