SKYX Hires Eric Jacobson As Senior Product Standardization Advisor

SKYX Platform Corporation, the company producing SkyPlug, an alternative luminaire mounting system, has announced that Eric Jacobson has joined the company as Senior Product Standardization Advisor. Jacobson recently resigned as President and CEO of the American Lighting Association (ALA).

Hiring Jacobson is the latest move by SKYX to achieve industry adoption of its alternative luminaire installation platform, SkyPlug. Recently, LightNOW published about SKYX acquiring over 60 lighting and home décor online retail websites from Belami, here.

SKYX raised some industry eyebrows with their failed attempts to get the National Electric Code to require the use of their SkyPlug for luminaire installation. More information about SKYX’s hiring of Eric Jacobson can be found here. More information on the SkyPlug platform can be found here
