IES Publishes The 2022 Progress Report Recognizing Industry Innovation

The IES Progress Committee has published its selection of 81 products, design tools, and publications for the 2022 IES Progress Report—an annual list covering developments in light and science achievements for the Society from around the globe. This year, the Committee received a total of 125 submittals; acceptance is based on a judging process which evaluates each submission on its uniqueness, innovation, and significance to the lighting industry.
Recognitions include components, lamps, luminaires, track systems, tape systems, lighting controls, emergency systems, and more. The full 2022 IES Progress Report can be downloaded here.

David Shiller is the Publisher of LightNOW, and President of Lighting Solution Development, a North American consulting firm providing business development services to advanced lighting manufacturers. The ALA awarded David the Pillar of the Industry Award. David has co-chaired ALA’s Engineering Committee since 2010. David established MaxLite’s OEM component sales into a multi-million dollar division. He invented GU24 lamps while leading ENERGY STAR lighting programs for the US EPA. David has been published in leading lighting publications, including LD+A, enLIGHTenment Magazine, LEDs Magazine, and more.
