Amid the escalating COVID-19 positivity rate and increased travel restrictions, the Illuminating Engineering Society’s Street and Area Lighting Conference Committee recently announced that the 2021 Street and Area Lighting Conference (SALC) will not take place in-person, and instead will be hosted in a completely virtual format.
Important Information:
• The dates for SALC have not changed. The conference will be held October 11-13, 2021.
• All conference components – general sessions, exhibition and breakouts – will be virtual.
• The Sunday, October 10th pre-conference classes are cancelled.
• Registration rates are $450 for IES members and $600 for nonmembers. Online registration will remain open until the start of the Conference. (Previous registrants can expect to be contacted within the next seven days with information and instructions on how this transition impacts them and their options for refunds.)
