The Rocky Mountain Lighting Academy (RMLA) recently announced its 2019 lighting courses, which will be held concurrently June 6-9, 2019.
The courses are Design and Technical. In both courses, participants learn the fundamentals of light and vision, visual perception, the IES TM-30 color metrics, light and health, LED systems, the lighting design process, and the aesthetics of light. However, the Technical Course offers an intensive hands-on exploration of photometry, optics, and luminaire design software, while the Design Course emphasizes how to develop strong design concepts for interior lighting applications and how to integrate daylighting with electric lighting.
The early bird cost is $2,000 through February 28; the regular price is $2,200. Discounts available for five or more participants signing up as a group (contact the Academy for a discount code before registering).
