FLOS recently announced the U.S. launch of the Bellhop cordless table lamp, originally designed by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby for London Design Museum’s Parabola restaurant.
Measuring 8.2” tall, the luminaire is playful and emits light for 24 hours between charging. Edge-lighting technology–lighting a flat disc with a ring of LEDs around its edges–ensure an evenly illuminated surface.
A mixture of neutral and bold finishes, such as white, grey, burnt orange, and dark brown, add a touch of warmth. The table lamp re-charges via USB-C, charging in 3 hours and has a carefully hidden status indicator under the base. At the push of a button, the user has four different dimming options between 10%-100%.
