The Illuminating Engineering Society has announced its 2018 Progress Report is now open to submissions. IES is looking for significant new advancements in lighting products, research, publications, and design tools from the past year.
The mission of the Progress Committee is to keep in touch with developments in the art and science of lighting throughout the world and prepare a yearly report of achievements for the Society. Acceptance is based on an impartial judging process used by the committee to evaluate each submission on its uniqueness, innovation and significance to the lighting industry.
Early Submittal Reduced Rate Ends – May 5, 2018
Submittal Deadline – May 25, 2018
Submission Fee – $50; $75 starting May 6
Submissions accepted into the Progress Report will be:
• Presented live at the 2018 IES Annual Conference, August 9 – 11, 2018, Boston, MA
• Published in LD+A Magazine
• Presented at IES Section meetings
