Lightology is issuing a challenge to design professionals, students, artists and design lovers: submit an original design concept ranging from pure art to architectural, for a chance to win a $2,000 Lightology gift card, a feature in i4 Design Magazine, and recognition from the design community at an exclusive Lightology event.
As part of the rules, all design concepts must incorporate at least one foot of Lightology’s LED Soft Strip, a flexible LED light strip that comes in white or color-changing RGB.
The deadline for sketch submissions is June 30, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. A judging panel, consisting of Richard Wright of Wright Auction House, Mitchell Obstfeld, publisher of i4 Design Magazine and Chicago Lighting Designer David Parker will select 10-15 sketches and those finalists will be given Lightology’s LED Soft Strip to create their design.
The top designs will be on display in the Lightology showroom and online for public viewing and voting to select a People’s Choice Winner, who will receive a $1,000 Lightology gift card.
The judging panel will select a Grand Prize winner at a Lightology event who will receive a $2,000 Lightology gift card and a feature in i4 Design Magazine.
