Ron Arad: “No Discipline”

Some architectural materials and structures just seem to lend themselves very naturally to lighting. This is not exactly a lighting story, but this photo caught my eye because of the way light so easily becomes part of the sculpture:
The structure– 30 tons, 120 ft. long, 17 ft. high, constructed of metal and built by Marzorati Ronchetti–is a work of art and in turn is used to house works of art by designer Ron Arad, part of a retrospective exhibition of his work in the United States organized by The Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
