The Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) has released a report on “bright green buildings,” which CABA defines as a “building that leverages intelligent technologies to support environmental sustainability while providing a significant return on investment (ROI).”
The report, titled Bright Green Buildings: Convergence of Green and Intelligent Buildings and authored by Frost & Sullivan, features several application examples demonstrating how building owners have employed advances in green building and networking technologies to increase profits, lower costs and advance their sustainability goals.
A number of companies provided input, including Johnson Controls, Encelium Technologies, Natural Resources Canada, DELTA Controls, Watt stopper/Legrand, Cisco Systems, Global Environment Fund, Trane, Herman Miller and InfoComm International.
